19 more Nepalis rescued from Israel



KATHMANDU: The government facilitated the rescue of 19 Nepalis from Israel, with the aid of an Indian plane.

According to Foreign Minister NP Saud, the Nepali citizens were brought back from Israel’s Tel Aviv via an Indian rescue flight.

“Nineteen Nepali citizens are en route from Tel Aviv on an Indian rescue flight,” he confirmed.

Minister Saud also assured that the Nepali embassy in New Delhi would coordinate transportation for the returning individuals, ensuring their safe passage back to Nepal.

The rescued Nepalis will be brought to Kailali through the Gauriphanta border crossing under the arrangements of the embassy.

The Ministry stated that the District Administration Office in Kailali is preparing to assist in the transportation of these individuals to their respective destinations within Nepal.

It is anticipated that the group will arrive in New Delhi by 6-7 pm on Tuesday. This recent rescue follows an earlier operation where the government successfully repatriated 254 Nepalis from Israel in the first phase.

The 19 rescued individuals have been identified as Nanda Singh Bhul, Sujendra Khadka, Pratibha Rauniyar, Anuma Dangol, Hina Khan, Atish Gurung, Junu Gurung, Mausami Pakhrin, Pratima Timsina, Raj Kumar Manandhar, Sangeeta Dulal, Urmila Rawal, Mamata Thapa, Dilkumari Adhikari Karki, Nischal Shrestha, Samita Basnet, Ambika Subedi, Sirta Gurung, and Urmila Shrestha.
