Five Nations Men’s Basketball: Nepal facing Bangladesh today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is playing against Bangladesh in the ongoing Five Nations Men’s Basketball Championship organized by the Maldives Basketball Association.

The match is scheduled for 9.30 pm Nepali time.

Nepal, who is playing its third game, has lost one game and won one game. Bangladesh, who is playing the third match, has won both the previous matches.

Nepal defeated Bhutan in the first match, Pakistan defeated Pakistan in the second match, and Bangladesh defeated Maldives and Bhutan.

Nepal will play home team Maldives in their last league match on Sunday.

Five countries of South Asia including Nepal are participating in the competition which will be held until June 22.

Nepal along with Maldives, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Pakistan will compete on the basis of round robin league. The top four teams will play in the semi-finals. The winners of the two semi-finals will play in the final.

Nepal team has Bipin Kapali and Nripesh Shrestha as the coaches and Sushil Gurung as the manager in the tournament.
