KATHMANDU: The health condition of President Ram Chandra Paudel has been stable.

Issuing a press release on Saturday, Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center (MCVDC) informed that the health condition of the President has been stable.

The executive director of the hospital, Prof. Dr. Ratna Mani Gajurel, said that Paudel is being treated as it is necessary to monitor his heart rate.

“President Ramchandra Paudel was admitted to this center for treatment early this morning as it was deemed necessary to monitor his heart rate. It is reported that the health condition of the President is currently stable,” the statement said.

President Paudel’s personal secretary Chiranjivi Adhikari said that President Paudel was taken to the TUTH after he complained of weakness and chestpain last night.

“Doctors said it was due to weakness,” he said.

President Paudel has been admitted to the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center and has been kept under the supervision of doctors.

Just last Tuesday, President Paudel had an angiogram.

President Paudel was discharged from Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center on Wednesday.
