Govt slashes fare for long-distance public transport

The government has slashed long-distance fares from today. The decision to this effect was made after the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) reduced the price of diesel with effect from 12 midnight on Tuesday. The diesel price was reduced by Rs 10 per litre.
