Minister Shrestha orders to look into malpractice involving land revenue office staff



KATHMANDU: Minister for Land Management, Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation Ranjita Shrestha has issued instruction to immediately investigate the news which says the employees at the Land Revenue Office, Kaski carry out works in a coterie involving in financial malpractice.

Minister Shrestha instructed Ministry secretary Dr Damodar Regmi and Padma Nidhi Soti, the director-general of the Department of Land Management and Archives, to forthwith carry out an investigation into the news about employees at the Land Revenue Office, Kaski’s involvement in financial misconduct, said Ramesh BK, Minister Shrestha’s private secretary.

Media had carried news few days back that employees at the Land Revenue Office, Kaski carried out work in syndication involving in financial malpractices.

Minister Shrestha has issued directives to probe this incident and take departmental action against those employees found guilty after finding out additional facts and truths, according to Minister Shrestha’s secretariat.
