RSP’s joint meeting of office bearers and PP postponed

KATHMANDU: A joint meeting of the office-bearers and parliamentary party of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) to reach a decision on the Vice Presidential election has been postponed.

The meeting was scheduled to be held at 11.30 a.m. at the party office at Basundhara to make a decision regarding which candidate to vote for in the Vice Presidential election to be held today itself.

The meeting has been postponed after the Election Commission called the attention of the political parties regarding the meeting of some political parties over candidates and statements made in this regard.

The EC reminded that election-related activities have been prohibited before 48 hours of the election day in order to hold the election in a free, fearless, transparent and impartial environment.
