PM Dahal expands cabinet; new ministers sworn in

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Tuesday expanded his Cabinet three weeks after he assumed office on December 25. With this, the government’s strength has now reached 22, including 19 ministers and 3 ministers of state.

Tanahun Court acquits actor Paul Shah

25 bodies of Sunday plane crash victims brought to Kathmandu

The mortal remains of 25 people killed in the Yeti Airlines plane crash in Pokhara on Sunday have been brought to Kathmandu. The bodies were brought on a Nepali Army’s MI-17 helicopter, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) said. Twenty-three remaining bodies are being brought here on another chopper, it is said.

Two die in road accidents
