KATHMANDU: In a significant operation, the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Customs Office has seized a total of 55 kilograms of marijuana that was being smuggled into Nepal.
Acting on a tip-off, authorities intercepted the illicit substance, concealed in 108 boxes, arriving from the United States of America (USA) on Friday night.
Further details about the investigation are expected to emerge as the Narcotics Control Bureau delves into the case.
