KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has fallen by more than 23 points on Monday.
The stock market index NEPSE decreased by 23.16 points to 1851.43 points today.
While the shares of all groups decreased, the shares of insurance, hotel and tourism, trade, microfinance, hydropower and development bank groups declined remarkably today.
The shares of Hydropower and Hathaway Investment Nepal decreased by 10 percent. On the day when the stock market witnessed an overall fall, the share of Siddhartha Premier Insurance increased the most by about 8 percent.
Today, 4,837,000 shares were traded for 1.25 billion rupees. The Prabhu Bank had the highest number of transactions worth 62.4 million rupees.
