Two young girls die in Morang fish pond



BIRATNAGAR: Two girls drowned in a pond while taking bath at Gramthan of Morang district on Saturday.

Samikshya Majhi,12, and Rejina Khawas,10, from Gramthan-2 died as they drowned in the fish pond while taking bath, according to District Police Office’s Spokesperson Ranjan Kumar Dahal.

The girls, who were found in a serious condition in the pond, were rescued and rushed to the Koshi Hospital for treatment, but in vain, Dahal added.
