‘Nai Nari Gaurabi’ awards provided to outstanding women in Australia



KATHMANDU: The ‘Nai Academy Australia’ has provided ‘Nai Nari Gaurabi’ awards to outstanding women in different categories.

The Academy gave away the awards by organizing a cultural program at Granville in Australia on the occasion of the upcoming Teej festival.

The ‘Nai Academy Australia Women of The Year, 2023 Award’ was conferred on Jamuna Gurung for education and social service category, Dr Archana Koirala for the science and technology category and Nari Nikunja Australia for the social service category.

The award carries a purse of 500 US Dollars each.

Also on the occasion, the Nai Academy Australia gave away appreciation letters to women leaders having substantial contributions to diverse sectors in Australia.

Among the recipients are Sweta Mainali, Usha Kiran Bariya, Ranju Wagle, Pratishtha Gautam, Anji Sherpa, Neena Shahi and Pratigya Adhikari, informed Founder and Chairperson of Nai Academy Australia, Seema Roshi.
