KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP) Chairman Dr. Baburam Bbaluwatar on Friday afternoon.
According to Baluwatar sources, the leader duo discussed current issues including the latest political developments.
The talks focused on the recent visit of PM Dahal to India, the federal budget, and the remaining tasks of the peace process including the Transitional Justice and Reconciliation Commission among others, said Dr Bhattarai.
Other topics discussed included the issue of the formation of a socialist front.
According to Dr. Bhattarai, the leaders agreed to discussion on ideological, policy, program, and organizational procedures to form a broader socialist front to further the society on the progressive path while safeguarding achievements established by the people’s movements.
