PM Dahal calls meeting of ruling coalition



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has called a meeting of the ruling coalition.

The meeting to be held today at Singha Durbar will discuss the government’s policies and programs scheduled to be unveiled on Friday, PM Dahal’s Secretariat said.

PM Dahal is expected to seek suggestions from the ruling coalition partners on the policies and programs.

Leaders of political parties, including the Nepali Congress, Maoist Center, Unified Socialist, Janata Samajwadi Party, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, Nagarik Unmukti Party, Janamat Party, Rastriya Janamocha, Aam Janata Party and others have been invited for the meeting.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the policies and programs will be revised and value-added by incorporating the suggestions of the ruling parties.

President Ram Chandra Paudel is presenting the government’s policies and program in the Federal Parliament on Friday (May 19).
