EC releases sample of ballot papers for vice-presidential election



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) released the sample of ballot papers of the Election to the Vice-President-2023.

The EC stated that two types of ballot papers will be used in the vice-presidential election.

According to the EC, the ballot paper for the federal parliament members is of red colour while it is of the green paper for the province assembly members.

Names and photos of the candidates have been included in the ballot papers. Astha Laxmi Shakya (Bohara), Pramila Kumari, Mamata Jha and Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav are the four vice-presidential candidates.

Election to the vice-president is taking place on March 17.
