Police arrest 15 more people in connection with Lhotse Mall robbery



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 15 more people involved in the robbery at the Lhotse Mall during the transport workers’ protest on Monday.

Earlier, police had arrested four people.

With this, the number of those arrested involved in the robbery has reached 19.

SSP Manoj KC of the Valley Crime Investigation Office, Kathmandu said that they were involved in taking away mobile phones by breaking into the mall during the agitation of transport workers.

Police said police arrested those who were caught on camera, and some others are under surveillance.

Among those arrested are 7 drivers and co-drivers.
