KATHMANDU: The prevailing influence of westerly winds in Nepal is leading to partial changes in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

Additionally, mist and fog are observed in certain parts of the Terai region.

The Weather Forecast Division has reported clear weather in the remaining regions of the country.

No rain or snow is anticipated in the country throughout the day and night.

In the afternoon, there will be a partial shift in the hilly areas, particularly in the Sudurpaschim Province, without any likelihood of precipitation.

Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to be partly cloudy tonight, while the rest of the country will experience generally clear conditions.

On Saturday, partial changes are forecasted in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The Division has suggested a potential for light snowfall in isolated areas of the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali province on Saturday.

As temperatures continue to drop nationwide, the Division has urged people to take necessary precautions to mitigate the effects of the cold.
