Govt receives bodies of five students killed in Hamas attack on Israel



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in Tel Aviv stated on Sunday that it received the remains of five students who lost their lives during the assault carried out by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on October 7 in Israel.

The incident occurred at the Sedot Negev Agriculture Training Center in Kibbutz Alumim, an area situated in the southern part of Israel, near the Gaza Strip.

As per the embassy’s official statement, the bodies of Narayan Prasad Neupane, Lokendra Singh Dhami, Ganesh Kumar Nepali, Dipesh Raj Bista, and Ashish Chaudhary have been handed over to the authorities.

The embassy further mentioned that it is actively engaged in the process of receiving the bodies of the remaining five students.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted that the embassy is working closely with the Israeli government to facilitate the repatriation of all the bodies to Nepal.
