Nepal sees three new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases eight



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of three new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Thursday.

All the confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 635 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 262 were tested through RT-PCR method and 373 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are eight active cases in the country as one infected patient recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
