KATHMANDU: Nepal beat Oman by 5 wickets in the practice match played in Mulpani Cricket Stadium, Kathmandu before the ACC Premier Cup.
Nepal met the target of 247 runs by losing 5 wickets in 44 overs.
Arjun Saud scored 67 runs and captain Rohit Paudel scored 58 runs in Nepal’s victory. Dipendra Singh Airee was dismissed for 59 runs. Captain Zeeshan Maqsood took 2 wickets for Oman.
Oman lost the toss and batted first, losing 9 wickets in 50 overs and scoring 246 runs. Shoaib Khan scored 110 runs for Oman. Opener Jatinder Singh was dismissed for 42 runs.
For Nepal, Kishore Mahato took 3 wickets and Pratish GC and Surya Tamang took 2 wickets each. The ACC Premier Cup will start on Tuesday.
