Boudha Youth Club wins seven-a side-football tournament



GALESWOR: The Boudha youth club has won the first seven-a-side football tournament held in Mangalaghat of Beni municipality.

In the final match of the competition organized by Riverside Bagarphant Youth Club on Friday, Boudha Youth Club defeated Riverside Youth Club by 4-3 goals.

A total of 22 teams from Myagdi and Parbat participated in the competition. The tournament held to mark the New Year 2080 BS started on April 12.

Along with the winner’s trophy, medal and certificates, the Club also won a cash prize of Rs 100,000 while the runner-up Riverside Club received Rs 50,000. Urken Sherpa of River Side Club was declared the best player of the tournament.

The Chairperson of District Sports Development Committee, Myagdi Dinesh KC and Ward Chair of Beni Municipality-2 Yam Bahadur Karki gave away prizes and certificates to the winners.
