Nepal sees four new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 19



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded four new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

All the confirmed cases  were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 950 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 133 were tested through RT-PCR method and 817 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 19 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
