NEPSE decreases by 14.44 points today

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 14.44 points to 1,938.62 points on Wednesday.

According to NEPSE, a total of 37 lakh 16 thousand 684 shares of 253 companies have been traded for Rs 1 billion 20 crores 21 lakh 41 thousand today.

The Trade group increased by 10.57 points, while the sub-indices of all other groups decreased. Similarly, the sub-index of the life insurance group decreased by 69.46 points, and the sub-index of the Microfinance group decreased by 68.35 points today.

Likewise, the banking group decreased by 9.94 points, the development bank group by 27.24 points, the finance group by 14.16 points, the hotels, and tourism by 7.39 points, and the hydropower group by 9.69 points.

There was a positive circuit in the share prices of Unique Nepal Microfinance Limited and Shubham Power Limited. Kisan Microfinance witnessed the biggest drop of 5.90 points today.
