Nepal improves in ODI ranking



KATHMANDU: Nepal has improved its ODI ranking by one position in the International Cricket Council.

In the ODI rankings updated by the ICC on Tuesday, Nepal improved by one place and climbed to the 16th position.

Nepal, which rose from 19th place to 17th place just a few days ago, has overtaken Namibia this time.

Nepal, which has been performing well in the last Cricket World Cup League 2, has improved three places in the rankings.

Nepal has won 10 matches out of 11 matches played in League 2.

Nepal will play the last match of the last series of League Two at home against UAE on Thursday.

Among the associate countries, Scotland (12th), Netherlands (14th) and Oman (15th) are ahead of Nepal.

India is at the top of the ODI ranking.
