NC demands action against looters at Lhotse Mall

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has asked the government to take immediate action against those involved in the robbery that took place at Lhotse Mall at New Bus Park on Monday.

Speaking during today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Wednesday, lawmaker Prakash Sharan Mahat demanded stern action against those involved in looting.

During the movement of transport workers, a mob entered Lhotse Mall and looted two mobile shops and a mobile repair shop.

“The footage of the looting has come out, but no action has been taken so far,” he said.

The government should be serious and take immediate action against the culprits.

He has also urged the government to address the demands raised by transport workers and businessmen.
