Country will be ruined if UML gets President: Madhav Nepal

POKHARA: Chairman of Unified Socialist Party, Madhav Kumar Nepal has claimed that the country will be ruined if CPN UML’s candidate becomes the country’s President.

Speaking at a press conference in Pokhara on Wednesday, he said that since the candidates of UML have already become the Speaker and National Assembly Chair, the President should not belong to UML at any cost.

Chairman Nepal said that his party, Unified Socialist, will not contest for the post of President without national consensus.

Meanwhile, referring to the recently held program organized by UML central member Durga Prasai in Jhapa, Chairman Nepal said this has indicated that the “journey of regression” is about to start from the Mechi River.
