LSP to sit in opposition bench in Madhes province



JANAKPURDHAM: The Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP), which gave a vote of confidence to Madhesh Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav, said it would remain as an opposition party.

LSP leader and Member of Parliament of the Madesh Province, Abhiram Sharma said that his party would sit in the opposition bench in the State Assembly meeting to be held on Wednesday.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the state government’s performance and asked the Speaker to arrange seats for his party in the opposition.

“Chief Minister Yadav’s working style is too slow,” he added.

MP Sharma also demanded the formation of a committee to investigate the widespread irregularities in the Agricultural University.
