KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported the potential for light snowfall at isolated locations in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces today.
It has also reported the prevailing influence of western winds affecting the country’s weather system.
The Division noted generally clear weather in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces in the morning.
By the afternoon, the forecast has indicated partly cloudy to normal conditions in the hilly regions, while the rest of the country is expected to experience partly cloudy to generally clear weather.
As night falls, the forecast has predicted partly cloudy to generally clear conditions in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
There is also a chance of light snowfall in specific high-hilly and mountainous areas across the country.
