Manang Air helicopter involved in minor accident while landing



LUKLA: A Manang Air helicopter, identified by the call sign 9N-ANJ, met with an incident earlier today.

Departing from Lukla in the morning, the helicopter encountered trouble during its landing at Lobuche.

Ganendra Bhul, the information officer at the Civil Aviation Authority, said, “It’s not an accident. The helicopter that took off from Lukla at 7:13 in the morning overturned slightly while landing in Lobuche.”

Reportedly, the helicopter was on a rescue mission to aid a patient.

The sole occupant, Captain Prakash Sedhai, sustained only minor injuries in the incident.
