Parliamentary Committee schedules hearing of proposed Chief Justice for 8 am tomorrow

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has scheduled the hearing of proposed Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki for 8 am, Thursday. After the discussion with the complainant on Wednesday, the Hearing Committee decided to call Justice Karki tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 8 o’clock.

Quake-damaged 71 heritages restored in Pashupati area

Seventy-one heritages damaged by the 2015 April earthquake in the Pashupatinath area have been restored. Executive Director of the Pashupati Area Development Trust, Dr Ghanshyam Khatiwada, said the rebuilding of other three structures is going on.

Beni-Jomsom road obstructed

The Beni-Jomsom road that connects Mustang district with the national highway through northern area has been obstructed. A flooding occurred on Tuesday night had taken away the culvert in Annapurna Rural Municipality-2, Bhurung Tatopani of Myagdi along the road.

President Paudel discharged from hospital

President Ram Chandra Paudel has been discharged from the hospital. He was discharged from the Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center on Wednesday morning, hospital sources said.
