DANG: Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that preparations are being made for a comprehensive socialist united front for the preparation of the socialist revolution.

Speaking at the meeting of the party leaders in Dang, the Prime Minister said that an initiative has been taken to form and attain the goal of communism through the Samajwadi Front.

“Socialist revolution is not straight and simple. It takes a path with its own originality and rules. A socialist revolution with broad discussion, great polarization, and unity in ideological politics. It is our own initiative and our own leadership,” the Maoist Center Chairman said, adding, “The idea and formation of the united Nepal Communist Party was also our initiative.”

He assured the party cadres and leaders that the strategies adopted by the party of late are not meant for surrender or abandonment of the communist ideal and the changed course would help in attaining socialist goals.

Citing instances from Lenin’s life and struggles, PM Dahal said that the party goals would be materialized through the formation of the socialist front.

“We will take initiatives for unity again. We have finalized the documents of Samajwadi Morcha. Samajwadi Morcha will be announced in a few days between the forces led by our party, Madhav Nepal, Baburam Bhattarai, Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, Bamdev Gautam, Upendra Yadav,” he said.

The Maoist Center chairman clarified that the unity will be firmer and stronger this time as a socialist front would be formed at the grassroots level.
