Husband arrested for murdering wife



KATHMANDU: A husband has been arrested for murdering his wife in Tokha, Kathmandu.

According to SP Sitaram Rijal of Kathmandu District Police office, Ngima Sherpa, 55 of Dhankuta, killed Motimaya Paudel, a resident of Tokha-8, on Saturday night over a family conflict.

The police arrested him on Saturday night.

According to SP Rizal, there had been an argument between them.

It is alleged that Sherpa beat his wife Paudel to death after drinking alcohol. Paudel died on the spot due to the beating.
