Kathmandu witnesses coldest morning of the year

KATHMANDU: The federal capital, Kathmandu, experienced the coldest morning of the year on Wednesday, with the temperature plummeting to a low of 5.8 degrees Celsius, as reported by the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

This marks a slight decrease from the previous lowest recorded temperature of 6 degrees Celsius earlier this month.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division anticipates the day’s maximum temperature in Kathmandu to range between 11 and 18 degrees Celsius. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay warm in the chilly weather.

As Kathmandu shivers in the grip of winter, it is essential for individuals to be mindful of the cold conditions and prepare accordingly.
