Child dies of dengue in Tanahu



DAMAULI: A six-year-old child of Vyas municipality-4 in Tanahu district died of dengue infection this morning in the course of treatment at Gandaki Medical College.

With this, the number of people who died of dengue has reached five in Vyas municipality.

He was a student of Kankai Global Academy, Damauli. However, Vyas Municipality Health Section Chief Pramod Soti said he has not got any official information about the death of the child.

A 35-year-old person from Vyas municipality-10 died of dengue on July 1, a 15-year-old boy from Vyas municipality-11 on September 19, a 13-year-old girl of Vyas municipality-2 on September 25 and 34-year-old woman of Vyas municipality-2 on October 7 lost their lives due to dengue, according to the Health Office.
