CPN-UML holding press conference on gold smuggling case



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is holding a press conference to present its official stance on the recent one-quintal gold smuggling case and the ongoing Parliamentary obstruction.

As the main opposition party in the Parliament, CPN-UML is organizing a press conference at the central party office in Chyasal at 12:45 pm.

Gagan Bista, Secretary of the Central Publicity and Publication Department, confirmed that the party will articulate its formal perspectives regarding the current political developments, encompassing the deadlock in the Parliament.

The party has been obstructing Parliamentary proceedings, demanding the formation of a high-level committee to conduct an investigation into the gold smuggling case.
