KATHMANDU: Machhindra Football Club defeated Three Star Club in Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League Football undergoing in Kathmandu on Saturday.
Machhindra defeated Three Stars by 1-0 in the match at Chyasal ground in Lalitpur. With the win, Machhindra reached third place with 27 points. Three Star, with 25 points, has dropped to fourth place.
Similarly, Tribhuvan Army Club beat Church Boys United by 1-0 in the match at Dasharath Stadium today.
Gillespie Jung Karki scored the goal for the Army. With this win, the Army has reached the fifth position with 24 points. Church Boys are in second place with 30 points.
Today’s defeat obstructed the Church Boys’ chance to reach the top position again.
