PM Prachanda, Deuba, Oli should not be spared if found guilty: Dr. Govinda KC

KATHMANDU: Civil Society leader and senior Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Govinda KC has said that the top leadership of the mainstream parties including Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli should not be spared provided found involved in corruption cases.

Taking part in the demonstration against corruption and cover-up of corruption in Kathmandu’s Naxal on Saturday, Dr. KC remarked that the political leadership is deeply indulged in corruption cases and deserves strict legal action.

He asserted that the fake Bhutanese refugee case has a connection to a higher level than the one seen so far.

“There are indications that top leadership of the mainstream parties is connected with the fake Bhutanese refugee scam, they should be booked by law so that no other leaders dare get involved in corruption,” he said.
