Nepal sees 37 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 126

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 37 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 11 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 26 through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,414 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 247 were tested through RT-PCR method and 2,167 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 126 active cases in the country as 14 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
