Anjan Shrestha elected unopposed as FNCCI Senior Vice President
Businessman Anjan Shrestha has been elected unopposed as the Senior Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Commerce and Industry (FNCCI). Anjan was elected to the post after another contestant for the post, Umesh Lal Shrestha, withdrew his candidacy. Anjan Shrestha is the Director of Laxmi Group.
NBA office bearers draw PM Dahal’s attention on appointment of CJ
Office bearers of Nepal Bar Association (NBA) on Thursday met with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and discussed legal issues, reforming judicial sector, among others. Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Balen Shah has asked the government either to work in favor of Kathmandu or move the Singha Durbar to some other municipalities.
