RSP holding central committee meeting today

Likely to nominate candidate for by-election in Chitwan constituency-2.



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a joint meeting of its parliamentary party (PP) and central committee (CC) today.

The meeting will discuss the current political situation and preparations for the by-election in Chitwan constituency-2, a party leader said.

According to the leader, the meeting to be held on Monday afternoon is likely to nominate a candidate for by-election in Chitwan constituency-2.

Earlier, party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane was elected from Chitwan constituency-2.

However, he had to quit because of his citizenship dispute.

The Election Commission has already decided to hold by-elections in Chitwan constituency-2 on April 23.
