NC President Deuba calls work performance committee meeting



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called for a meeting of the party’s central performance committee.

Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel said that the meeting has been scheduled for Friday afternoon at the party central office in Sanepa.

The agenda for the meeting, as stated by Paudel, includes discussions on the preparation for the upcoming Mahasamiti meeting.

Additionally, topics such as the recent Jajarkot earthquake and contemporary political issues will be discussed.

Paudel stated that the attendance of officers and members of the work performance committee has been requested for the meeting.

The Congress has already decided to hold the party’s Mahasamiti meeting from January 1-4, 2024.

In a related development, Dr. Shekhar Koirala has called a meeting of his faction for tomorrow (Wednesday).
