KATHMANDU: Inter Miami has won the quarter-final match of the League Cup this morning.
Miami entered the semifinals after defeating Charlotte FC 4-0. Joseph Martinez scored a goal in Miami’s win. Martinez scored through a penalty in the 12th minute of the game.
Similarly, Robert Taylor doubled the lead in the 32nd minute. In the 78th minute, Charlotte’s Malanda scored a suicide goal to give Miami a three-goal lead.
Argentine superstar Lionel Messi scored in the 86th minute of the game. Including this, Messi has scored eight goals in five games for Miami. With this, Messi has become the top scorer in the League Cup 2023.
Now Miami will play against the Philadelphia Union in the semifinals. The semi-final match will be held next Tuesday.
