KATHMANDU: Sita Dahal, wife of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” is being cremated with state honors at Pashupatinath Aryaghat in Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier, an emergency meeting of the cabinet had decided to cremate Sita Dahal with state honors.
Sita Dahal passed away on Wednesday morning at 8:33 am at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali.
She passed away during treatment.
Earlier today, her body was kept at the party office from 11 am onwards.
