Nepal sees two new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 11



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of four new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, three  were detected through the RT-PCR method and one through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 410 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 136 were tested through RT-PCR method and 274 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 11 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
