Nepal sees 32 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 129

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 32 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 21 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 11 through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 916 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 260 were tested through RT-PCR method and 656 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 129 active cases in the country as 12 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
