Four Indian citizens killed in Sindhuli car accident

Four Indian nationals died in a car accident that occurred at Kamalamai municipality-3, Gadhigate in Sindhuli along the BP Highway last night. According to the Superintendent of Police (SP) at the District Police Office, Rjkumar Silwal, the car with an Indian number plate (BR 06 DD -687) met with the accident at 12.30 last night after it went uncontrolled.

Three climbers missing in avalanche in Mount Everest

Three Sherpa climbers have gone missing on Mount Everest since Wednesday morning. According to Yuvraj Khatiwada, Tourism Department Director, they have been missing since 9:30 am on Wednesday. Da Chiri Sherpa, Lakpa Tendi Sherpa, and Lakpa Rita Sherpa are among the missing climbers.

Merchandise exports decline in eight months of FY 2022/23

Merchandise exports decreased 29.1 percent to Rs104.80 billion against an increase of 82.9 percent in the last eight months of Fiscal Year 2022/23 compared to the same period of the previous year. According to a recent report on the current macroeconomic situation unveiled by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), destination-wise, exports to India and China decreased 37.5 percent and 4.9 percent respectively whereas exports to other countries increased 6.0 percent.
