Police Headquarters transfers police chiefs of all seven provinces



KATHMANDU: The government has transferred 17 Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of Nepal Police.

Police Headquarters, Naxal, transferred 17 DIGs on Thursday according to which Shyamalal Gyawali has been transferred to Province-1.

Earlier he was in charge of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Similarly, Basant Kunwar has been transferred to Madhesh Province. He was previously working in the Directorate of Operations under the Naxal Operations Department of the Police Headquarters.

Similarly, DIG Deepak Thapa of Police Head Office has been transferred to Bagmati Province Police Office, Hetauda.

Buddhiraj Gurung has been transferred to Gandaki Province, and Bhim Prasad Dhakal to Karnali Province.

Similarly, Ashok Singh has been given charge of Sudurpaschim Police Office, Dhangadhi.

Earlier, Madhesh Police Chief Masaud Alam Khan was transferred to the Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari.

Poshraj Pokhrel working in Karnali Province has been transferred to the Secretariat of Inspector General of Police.

Similarly, Kiran Rana has been posted to Tribhuvan International Airport.
