Lumbini CM taking the oath of office today

DANG: Lumbini Chief Minister Leela Giri is taking the oath of office and secrecy today (Thursday).

The Office of the State Chief is organizing an oath-taking ceremony at 1 p.m. in the Lumbini State Assembly, Deukhuri in Dang.

The Chief Minister and the Ministers should take the oath of office and secrecy before the Chief Minister before assuming their duties.

On Wednesday, Province Chief Amik Sherchan appointed UML parliamentary party leader Giri as the Chief Minister in accordance with Article 168 of the Constitution of Nepal.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the formation of a 3 to 5-member cabinet today itself.
