KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecast Division has forecasted possibilities of snowfall in the mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces today.
As of Monday morning, a partial change in the hilly areas is underway, influenced by the westerly wind.
While the rest of the country experiences generally clear weather, some places in the Terai region may witness fog.
Meteorologists clarify that “partly cloudy” indicates 26 to 50 percent cloud coverage, while “generally clear” implies very few clouds in the sky.
Later this afternoon, the weather is expected to remain generally clear across most of the country, with a partial change in the hilly areas.
There is a likelihood of light snowfall at isolated locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali.
Heading into the night, the Weather Forecast Division has anticipated continued generally clear conditions in most parts of the country, with a partial change in the hilly areas persisting.
