China set to open Korala checkpoint from Nov. 13



KATHMANDU: China is set to open the Korala checkpoint on November 13.

According to visiting Secretary of the Communist Party of China, Tibet Autonomous Region, Wang Junzheng, China will open the Korala checkpoint on Monday.

Wang revealed this during a meeting with the Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey.

The visiting Chinese leader Wang also stated that he was committed to operating direct flights from different cities in China to Pokhara International Airport.

He also pledged to send a group of technicians to study this issue.
