Police seize counterfeit Nepali notes exceeding Rs 35 lakh in Nagadhunga

KATHMANDU: Police have confiscated counterfeit Nepali currency notes valued at over Rs 35 lakh in Nagadhunga, Kathmandu.

According to the police, the fraudulent currency was discovered in a vehicle en route from Bhairahawa.

Two individuals attempting to collect the illicit funds from the New Bus Park have been apprehended.

Furthermore, seven individuals have been taken into custody on suspicion of their complicity in the case.
